Growing with Our Clients
This opportunity allows First Citrus Bank associates to build upon our mission to provide premier banking services - at a larger scale! In time, we will grow throughout Florida, expanding our successful commercial and SBA lending practices while expanding our premier personal banking solutions to our members.
A Complementary Fit
First Citrus Bank associates are exemplars in commercial banking. Similarly, DFCU Financial are experts in the consumer banking arena. Together, we will be better able to help families become even more financially secure and businesses economically successful.
Our Commitment to Our Clients
Our bankers are driven to deliver banking services that go beyond client expectations, as we genuinely care about you and our community. That has been the First Citrus Bank way for over two decades. DFCU Financial has built its 72 years of success on a similar platform, listening to their members and consistently evolving and growing to meet their needs. Together, we are committed to the success of our Florida businesses and neighbors.
Our Commitment to Our Team
Over the years, our clients and team members have built amazing relationships. When you enter our doors, you are greeted by name. That business philosophy will not change, because people matter. With this merger, the bankers you know will remain at our six office locations, ready to support your financial needs. In fact, Tampa Bay will be the DFCU Financial state headquarters. And, our executive team will remain intact to continue building on the tradition of excellence in caring for clients.
About DFCU Financial
DFCU Financial is a full-service credit union founded in 1950 and headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan. They have 6.5 billion dollars in total assets. DFCU now serves its members at branches in Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Grand Rapids.
All First Citrus Bank clients will automatically become members of DFCU Financial upon closing of the merger.
The full product and service offering of DFCU Financial will be available at our current First Citrus Bank offices after a full systems integration in 2023. Until then, First Citrus Bank clients can continue using their checks, debit cards and online banking systems as usual. We will provide clear communication to our clients in advance, once operating systems are combined and any steps you may need to take.
